Each application is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, with careful consideration of how we can best support each learner’s academic, social, and emotional growth. Our goal is to ensure that every learner who joins Uluwatu School is well supported to thrive, grow in confidence, and reach their full potential within our learning community.

Learners at Uluwatu School experience a student-centered education that balances strong academic foundations with experiential, outdoor, and place-based learning. Through community engagement, project-based learning, and Social, Emotional, and Ethical Learning (SEEL), learners develop curiosity, resilience, and a strong sense of purpose—preparing them for future learning pathways and life beyond school.

Uluwatu School operates on a calendar-year academic schedule. Admissions are currently open for Grade 1 to Grade 8 and are managed online through OpenApply, where families can submit applications, upload required documents, and track the progress of their application throughout the year, subject to availability.

Families interested in enrolling for Grade 1 to Grade 8 are encouraged to schedule a school visit and begin the application process via OpenApply.

Admissions Process

Step 1

Submit an application

  • Families begin the admissions process by completing an online application through OpenApply. This includes basic family information and required documents.

Step 2

Application Review

  • Our admissions team carefully reviews each application to ensure alignment with our learning approach and values.

Step 3

Schedule a School Tour

  • Eligible families are invited for a school tour and a conversation with our team. This helps us get to know your child and family while giving you an opportunity to experience our learning environment.

Step 4

Learner Observation or Assessment

  • Depending on age and grade level, learners may be invited for an observation or informal assessment to support appropriate placement and learning support.

Step 5

Offer of Enrollment

  • Families will receive an enrollment decision through OpenApply. If accepted, an official offer letter and enrollment details will be shared.

Step 6

Enrollment Confirmation

  • To secure a place, families confirm enrollment by submitting the required forms and completing the enrollment payment by the stated deadline.

Step 7

Welcome to Uluwatu School

  • Once enrolled, families receive onboarding information to support a smooth transition into the Uluwatu School community.
